The day was very rough, hut ! notwithstanding this there was a fair yarding of 193 cattle'and 856 sheep. ' Prices realised were as follows:—Store ' cowS' 595, (50s to 70s, hulls (>6s to 77s i (id,- 2h year steers 80s to 110 s, 20 ! months steers 08s 6d to 755, in calf ; heifers 31s, springing lieifers l.C5s, 4 1 tooth wethers 16s od, forward ewes V2& j (3d to 14s- Id. During the Meek we have disposed |j of stock privately as follows:—WeaI ner steers 30s Od, 3is, 32s 6d, 27s 6d, weaner heifers 255, 24s and 225, 20 month steers 70s, 73s and 755, 20 months empty heifers 52s Gd, 535, up to 60s, 2$ year steers 105 s to 115 s, hulls in lines 110 s, t'.m. ewes, culls 9s, 10s up to, 13s and lis [d, lambs 8s Gd, 10s- up to 13s for freezers, 2 tooth ewes Ms 3d, Ms 9d up to 15s 9d.
