HOME RULE FOR IRELAND. THE DIVISION ANALYSED. [rsr Electric Telegraph—Copyright] Press association. Loudon, April 8. An analysis of the Homo Rule division shows the votes, according to countries, as follows: England, for the Bill 198, against 143. Wales, for the Bill 30, against 3. Scotland, for the Bill 53, against 15. Ireland, for the Bill 75, against IG. PARTY FEELING. , Loudon, April 18. The Parliamentary golf handicap has been postponed, owing to party feeling. Mr Lyell’s motion in favor of an alternative vote was debated. No division was recorded. The steamer Fanny touched on the Norwegian coast and landed one of the crew, who was ill. The officers state that the ship is hound for Ireland, but they were not aware that the cargo was of rifles.
PATSY BRANNICAN INJURED. A FACTION FIGHT. (Received 10.40 a.m.) Pittsburg, April 8. Patsy Brannigan, a noted pugilist, was badly injured in a riot between Home Rulers and anti-Homo Rulers, and others were wounded. The police reserves were called out, but the disturbance raged throughout the low class district for hours despite wholesale arrests and baton charges.
