ITS SOCIAL WORK. [Pia Press Association. 1 Wellington, April*!. The Salvation Army’s now matcrlity home in Kensington Street was formally opened by the Mayor this iftornoon. Commissioner Rio 1 ards described the work of the Army in connection with fallen women, and said this home was intended to help women to rehabilitate themselves as useful members of society after their lapse. Dr. Platts Mills and Dr. A. K. Newman, M.P., also spoke, congratulating the Army on the work it is doing. To-morrow the Booth Memorial Training College, just completed at a cost of £IO.OOO, will be opened
