A local enthusiast has picked a tug-of-war team that, in his opinion, is sure to beat allcomers. A small committee has the arranging of the tug-of-war in hand, and is going to have the event run on strictly sporting linos. Boards will be provided to pull on, and should get busy immediately. There will bo , the usual novelty events, such as buck jumping, stepping the chain, gheaf tossing and children’s races; in fact, the Committee of the Association has spread itself in providing fun for the million.
