MARCONI TRANSACTIONS.

EVIDENCE AT TK£ ENQUIRY. By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! 1 D NITEIJ P REBB A BSOOIATION. J (Received 9.0 a.m.) London, March 24. Lord Murray gave evidence that lie had instructed Fenner to invest a certain amount of the party funds in Home securities, leaving Fenner to select the stock. All the purchases were made as investments. He did not possess information on political matters which was not open to the general public through the press, and although the coal strike was on he had no information from 'Ministers about it. He saw no impropriety in investing in railway stocks. Fenner had changed the stocks from one railway to another in order to secure better dividends.

Paris, March 24. Fenner is still awaiting extradiion.
