CORRESPONDENCE.

A SETTLER'S REMEDY.

[To The Editor Stratford Post.] Sir, —[ notice by reports that the Stratford County Council appear to be in financial difficulties. My own opinion is Ave will never have roads until wo have a S.tate Bank, and we will never have a State Bank while a Jew capitalists are allowed to "rule the roost." Since local bodies have existed, one great mistake they have made is in accepting the lowest contract tender. They do this whether the contractor is competent or not. Then the engineer comes in for trouble. People cannot do as they are told if they do not understand the meaning of what is said to them. Perhaps education will remedy some of the evils and then ignorance will have less excuses.—l am, «ts., T. CUTEBERT. March 23rd, 1914.
