FIRE IN GIRLS’ COLLEGE.

Two hundred and fifty girl students fled for their lives when a fire broke out in a college hall at Wellesley, Massachussets. Many groped their way through the smoke, which filled the rooms and descended by the fire escapes. No one was injured. One hundred other college residents were also imperilled, but caped.The slightest panic would inevitably have caused a holocaust. The college was completely wiped out.
