At the wool sales there was better competition. Greasy" crossbreds and merinos were unchanged. The following prices were realised for fleece portions of the clips named: Jo top ]2fd, average Hid; Aoohanga, lid and lOkl; Arakihi, 13d and llkl. The number of bales catalogued wa» 129,519, all of which -wore sold;* ' Mr Newton King has received the following; advice re London wool sales: has declined 5 per cent."
