There never was -~a more hollow mockery, than to assert that three years of Labor rule had givfen the State industrial peace. The Labor rule had signalised a fratricidale policy of striking and the creation of class hatred which was increasing in the State to-day, and this feeling would reduce the effectiveness of the working man's wages.
NORDDEUTSCHER LLOYD.

The agents of the Norddeutscher Lloyd state-.that the service will continue until May 12th; 1915, whether the subsidy is renewed or not. The-last vessel on the present. programme leaves Sydney on that date.
THE MOKOIA'S FIREMEN.

Sydney, March 16. ! Complaining, of the food, the firemen of : the Mokoia gave notice and were paid off. A new crew was obtained and the vessel sailed for Hobart on Saturday night.

Mr Ustis • flatly contradicts the statement cabled from Auckland on Tuesday that the Chicago Meat Co. are extending operations to Australia. He-denied having, any connection with the company.
