Mr Poutsma, interviewed, said that at the psychological moment the deporteds will return to South Africa with a solemn promise of the British trade unionists that if they are interfered with on arrival a boycott of South African products will follow.

DOMINION INTERFERENCE.

Melbourne, March 10.

Mr Fisher, the Premier, is opposed to the British Labor leaders’ proposal that a deputation from the Dominions should visit South Africa to protest to Mr Botha against the deportations without trial. He is unable to believe that a Government capable of such actions could be moved to reason, and it was not even a matter for a petition.
