REECE DEFEATS GRAY

London, March 7. Reece scored his 9000 whilst Gray compiled 7211. Gray early scored 217 and 151, and got within 685 of Reece. The latter then made 352 olf a safety miss. At the interval the scores were: Reece 8250, Gray 7007.

The Evening Standard says that Gray was suffering from nerves, and that Recce’s consistency was remarkable.
