INCIDENT ON THE BOULEVARDS.

The traffic on one of the busiest parts of the boulevards during the busiest hours of the day was brought to a standstill by a tall man in a long black robe shouting: “1 am the Prophet Daniel! Hear ye!” He displayed a sheet, on which was printed in rod letters the following: “A great wind will fall upon Paris, ami everyone will be swept into the clouds.”

The man was arrested, but was released, under a promise from Ins friends to take care of the now phophet.
