The proclamation of martial law is attributed to trouble with the Military Club, which was the outcome of the revolutionary movement. The Ministry is taking steps to ensure the security of Fortaleza. It is considered unlikely that the troubles in the State of Cora will seriously affect the fortunes of the whole country. SEVERAL ARRESTS. Rio de Janiero, March 5. Press censorship has been established. Various arrests have been affected, including three generals and two editors.
