THE TRENTHAM MEETING.

The weather was bright for the teams match this morning, with a gusty rear wind, which made shooting somewhat uncertain. Twentyfour tea in b entered. Opaki No. 1, comprising Mcintosh, Bolton, Feast, G. Hyde and Cameron, shot into first place. The ranges were 300, 500 and 600 yds, seven shots. Details: Opaki No. 1 467, Christcbtirch 458, Ohura suburbs No. 1 449, Tuamarina 448, Auckland City 4J6.
The Camp Commandant, Colonel Collins, has issued an order of the day in which lie expresses appreciation of the conduct of competitors and the good feeling existing between them and the staff throughout the meeting. The final for the championship comemnces at 2.30. The Hon. JR. H. Rhodes represents the Government at the distribution of prizes. The shoot-off for final places in the fifty to fire for the Belt resulted in Knowles (Railway .corps), Croxton (Karorii, and Cnthbertsou (Ttiamarina) securing inclusion. The United Service teams' match, 300, 500, and 600yds, seven shots at each, resulted: Rifle Clubs' team 910, Territorials 893, New Zealand Staff 855.
The Colonial Ammunition Company's cup was won by Wellington Suburbs' Rifle Club for the best aggregate. The long-distances district champion shield trophy for the champion team was won by Opaki No. 1. MASEFIELD WINS THE BELT. The final for the belt resulted:— Masefield 1 Siminonds * Loveday •*
