The Government Meteorologist (Rev 0. O. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows; The indications are for northerly moderate to strong winds and veering hv west to south. The weather appears likely to he cloudy and unsettled; rain prohahle; barometer unsteady, hut rising alter about Hi hours.
