BOWLING. [Pkji Prwjs Association.) Dunedin, February 17. The Australian bowlers were taken for a motor drive this morning, and in the afternoon they played a match against the Dunedin Centre, the visitors winning by 168 points to 167. At the conclusion of the match, Mr Raffen said the visitors were leaving the Dominion with very pleasant recollections of the kindness extended to them. They hoped bowlers from New Zealand would soon give them a chance to return the compliment. They were anxious that these tours should become recognised institutions every year, visits being paid in turn. The visitors will leave to-morrow. Members of the Stratford Bowling Club should remember the progressive games arrangement for Thursday afternoon, commencing at 2 o’clock sharp. “Progressives” is always interesting (writes P. Steward), and with a big attendance on tbe green there should be no end of interest in the competition until the last skips have sent down their last bowl. TENNIS.
