NEW PLYMOUTH SHOW.

| event of primary importance | co agricultural and pastoral interests a th(> Dominion is the big show which akes place in Xew Plymouth on. February 2b and 26 next, and preparations for same are now in progress. The large amount of prize money and trophies is largely responsible for the keen interest being displayed. That the Taranaki A. and P. Committee back up their honors with something more than mere prize tickets and certificates will be seen, by a glance at the schedule. Numerous inquiries for schedules have been received from dog fanciers from all over the Dominion, and as a consequence the committee is anticipating full benches in these classes. Keen competition is expected in the horse classes, and from present indications there will be record entries. There are many other items which attract attention, but through all the programme the word “progress” is written.
