FURTHER RESULTS. [Per Press Association.] Auckland, February 10. The Exhibition Band Contest was continued last evening. Results : E flat Cornet Solo: 11. Wills (Invercargill Hibernian), 90, 1; W. Frances (Wanganui Garrison), 86, 2. There were seven other competitors. B fiat Bass Solo: T. Williams (St. Kilda Municipal), 100, 1; T. Barton (Marton Royal), 98, 2. There were two other competitors. The B Grade contest resulted as follows:—lnvercargill Hibernian, 147 (out of 150), 1 ; Onehunga. 146, 2 Whangarei, 115, 3; Marton, 139, 4. Other competitors were: Waikato 136, Taranaki Rifles 133, Hawera 133, Napier City 128, Wellington W ate insiders 126, and Dnrgaville 117. Auckland, February 11. Twelve bands competed in the A Grade. First Test, selection “Classic Gems,” No. 1, arranged by W. Rimmer, possible points 150: South Canterbury Regimental, 148 points, 1 ; Wanganui Garrison. 147, 2; Auckland Regimental, 146, 3; Wellington Tramways, 145; Wellington City, 145; Queen Alexandra’s Own, Wanganui, 145.
