Bourouior, a well-known electri■ian, has advanced a startling theory. He declares that he has reason to heiove that wireless waves are respoudble for several recent catastrophes, notably the Volturno and the explosion an the battleship Liberte. He explainid experiments in his laboratory raiclvay between the Eiffel Tower and Rochefort Tower. The Rochefort wireless stations show that whenever two Diaces are sending messages simultaneously, inexplicable phenomena are produced by intersection waves. Two glass globes filled with inflammable gas were exploded by the disturbance thus set up. He points out the Volturno was in exactly the same zone ill the time of the disaster, and the Liberte, when destroyed, was between two other wireless stations.
