MONTHLY MEETING. The executive met last night, when there wore present —Messrs J. B. Richards (in the chair), W. P. Kirkwood, i). J. Malone, W. H. H. Young. A. F. Grant, R. Masters, E. Jackson, P. Thomson, and W. A.. Hewitt (lion, secretary). the ohura trip. Mr Meredith, secretary of the Ohura Progressive Association, wrote asking how many members intended visiting the Ohura. ' Tt was the intention to show ’the visitors round the district, and f ' there would also j, ! e a “family” dinner, 'so‘that the visitors would'meet blithe residents-. SETTLEMENT WANTED. fi was decided to give the Minister of Lands a reminder regarding throwing open tor settlement land the Mangapapa Roan.
