Edmond Thery and Comeofts, French investors, who are interested in economic developments in Russia, state that the whole Russian Empire, including Siberia, is progressing rapidly owing to the French factor, money, which is splendidly invested. In twelve years there had been 351 million increase in the population, and before 1950, continuing at this rate of progress, Russia would have fourteen million more than the aggregate of Germany, Australia, Britain, Italy and France. M. Thery emphasised the necessity of the baby, France, keeping a tight hold of her big brother's hand.
