THE STARCHFIELD CASE.

A FATHER OM TRIAL.

iBY Electric Telegraph—Copyright' [United Press Association.] (Received 11.15 a.m.)

London, February 3

The trial of Starehfield for the murder of his boy is proceeding at the Old Street Court.

The prosecution stated that the body of the boy was under the seat during three journeys from Chalk Farm to Broad Street, and was not discovered for two hours. The cake found in the stomach was eaten half an hour before death. This was important, as Mrs Wood saw the hoy munching a similar cake at the Bank.
