THE REEKS MURDER.

The Wolverhampton police are satisfied that the Grampian's passenger was not concerned in the murder of Reeks. NEARLY RUN DOWN BY TRAIN. 0 (Received 1.10 p.m.) Ottawa, February 2. While crossing the track at the railway station at Toronto the Duke of Connaught narrowly escaped being run'down by a passing train. The driver saw the Duke in time and hastily jammed on the brakes and the engine was pulled up within six inches of the Duke of Connaught and,Sir Henry Pellak. The Duke was quiet and cool. . ~ THE PUGILISTS' ROW. London, February 2. Miller, in evidence, said he took the tie-pin because Burns owed him money. Miller was bound over. FOOTBALL DISPUTE ENDED. The Football Association has unanimously accepted the Amateur Association's affiliation and the split is finally ended.
