HOUSE ANO CONTENTS DESTROYED.

A five-roomed house, occupied by C. Stuart,.in Abercrombie Street, Milton, was destroyed by fire at four o'clock I this morning. The lire originated near the range, and was discovered by Mrs Stuart, who was alone at the time. The house and furniture was completely destroyed. The building was owned byjMr H. S. Coombe, and was insured for £250 in the Phoenix Office, the furniture being insured for | £IOO in the sumo office.
