HIS MAJESTY'S PICTURES. To-night's new programme is pronounced to be of great variety. The star feature, "That Scamp Ferdinand," a .'soooft. comedy reel, introduces "Mon's Prince," the best of all photo play comedians. "Prince" is of Irish
|birth, and is the greatest Parisian favourite both on the stage and ithrough the world as a born comedian. /'A Tardy Recognition" (Edison drama) has a most sympathetic plot. ;Having disinherited one daughter for marrying against his will, Aldrich finds [himself neglected by the other as he (grows old. Seeking a rest in the park, |he meets a child of his disinherited 'daughter's and she becomes the means 'of reconciliation. "Crook and the Girl" is an A.B. drama. In the guise of a gardener he came to steal the 'paper, telling the whereabouts of the I second will. That was so the nephew .might enjoy the inheritance alone. I Then the girl learned his true mission, | but in the end he restored her conjfidence and beat her enemies at their own game.
On Wednesday the famous Pathe feature drama. "The Battle of Waterloo," will be screened. This is stated to be a notable production. The characters are lifelike and the play is taken upon the original scene of this great battlefield.
On Friday the only existing film of "Scott's Dash to the Pole," taken by "Poynter," the celebrated photographer, who accompanied the expedition, will bo screened.
