MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
(Before Mr W. G. K. Kenrick, S.M.) The sitting of the Court commenced this morning, was continued at 2 o’clock. Land Agents’ Licenses. A land agent’s license wa« issued to W. M. Bayly, the neccssary.«&H» inality having been carried out since the case was called this morning. Territorial Cases. Robert Adam gangster was ordered to pay 7s cost on a charge of tailing to attend a.parade of the Mounted 'Rifles on November 6th. Leslie Young and L. T. Currie, Senior Cadets, were each'Tiued 10s, with costs 7s, in default fourteen days’ military detention. A Drover’s Claim,
Judgment for plaintiff for £lO 6s, with costs £1 os, was given m the case, Arthur M. Hignett v. James A. Jardine, a claim for wages for driving a moh of cattle from Stratford to Makirikiri, near Wanganui. A counter-claim by Jardine foi cattle short delivered was part heard, and then adjourned till next sitting.

Thomas Ingles (Mr Spence) pleaded guilty to failing to observe the warning notice at the railway crossing west of Toko. He was lined 10s, with costs 275.
Motor Cycle Accident
Evidence was heard in the case m which Henry Guy Fearon was charged with having, on December >6th, ridden a motor cycle, in a dangerous manner. Mr Spence appeared tor defendant. Judgment was reserved.
