THE BURNS SUPPER.

(To The Editor Stratford Post.]

Sir, —The Burns Supper in honor of Scotia’s immortal poet passed peacefully and reverently and it was as big a success, I believe, as any of its predecessors. But as a lover of things Scotch and especially the national music, I regret that no mention was made of the pipers at last night’s function. They make for greatly help to make) a Scots gathering what it is, and it is probably due to their unfailing attendance at these functions that |their attendance last evening was taKen for granted.—l am, etc.,

“ADMIRER.” Stratford, January 27, 1913.
