WEBSTER, DOBSON AND CO'S. STOCK REPORT.
At Strathmore on Monday we held our monthly sale,; meeting a fair yarding of stock and good attendance. Competition was easy, at the .hammer, and several pens ivore passed, and mostly disposed.ofdater. We.quote:— Yearling heifers 49s to 51s, steers 55s to 68s, bulls £6 10s, old cows £2 10s to £3 ss, fresh cows £5 to £5 12s.
At Stratford on Tuesday we held our fortnightly sale and had a good yarding of saleable cattle. Competition was brisk and practically every pen was sold under the hammer. We quote:—Yearling heifers 45s to 51s,\ 18 months steers £4 Is 6d Jo £4 Bs, cows and calves £4 '7s, 2 year empty heifers £4 10s, fat cows £6 2s to £6 15s, forward do. £4 15s to £5 10s, old and poor condition dh. £2 12s to £3 12s 6d, hulls £5 19s to £9 17s 6d.
