Mr Newton King's Report.

On Tuesday, January 13th, I held iiiy usual four weekly sale of above produce, the catalogue comprising •50 bales and 114 sacks wool, 1819 ■hcenskiiis, 593 hides, 9 basks and l 8 dns * tallow, 479 calfskins and the isual assortment of hair, tails, etc. There was a good attendance of buyers and bidding was brisk throughout. Wool. —Prices were firmer and showed an advance of id, and m ,ome cases to a Id per lb. on December rates. Lambs wool was in keen demand, selling up to 9-id, practical!} the whole of the catalogue being cleared under the hammer.
