(By P. Steward.) Eltham has had a bad run this week. Oil Wednesday, playing Hawern mi their own green, they weni down in. the aggregate by LlO to 40, the Banner points being 91 to 39. I Yeserday- at Stratford, another crashing defeat awaited .them, the local representatives getting their revenge for the unsatisfactory draw which was the result of the laSt game between the two chilis. The scores yesterday were, .Stratford 114, Eltham 84, the local rinks winning every time, one rink, indeed (McMillan's) beating tin* crack De Laumvy by 3G to 13. ■ ■ae banner figures were, 94—31.
