The Westminster Gazette is publishing correspondence alleging the Unionist newspapers are boycotting the Tariff Reform propaganda, particularly complaints of agriculturalists, who consider -Mr Boaar Law’s Edinburgh compromise has sacrificed tanners for Birmingham and Sheffield manufacturers. Meetings of the National Farmers’ Unions in all countries have passed resolutions that they will not assist tariff reform if the benefits to agriculture are excluded. A Farmers’ Tariff Union has been formed to carry on a campaign against a compromise.
