COPY OF RESOLUTION.
A resolution was passed at last meeting as fololws; “That the consent of this Conned be given to the erection of poles and other means of carrying lines for conveying electrical energy from the Stratford Electrical Supply Co.’s works to all parts of the County, on the County roads; the right to be not a sole right, but to be in perj petuity. I “The conditions to-be that eiecj trical energy shall be supplied to i all such County ratepayers and to j the Council itself at such places in Jthe County on its roads from time to time as shall be agreed upon between the County Council and the Company as shall be decided by arbitration as being reasonable, the costs of arbitration to be paid by the loser. “The price of electrical energy to at no time exceed that charged to
be customers of the Company withn the Borough of Stratford, or In any •nse at not exceeding 9d, with 2d liscouiit-, per B.T. T nib, for light, iul £9 per annum per one horse mwer or at 4d per B.T. unit, with discount of Id per B.T. unit, with : minimum of 4s per one horse power >er month, for" motive power. “The voltage to be up to the tandard fixed by the Public Works department or other authority reflating the same. “The hours of supply to be coninuous. “The Council to have the right to ake over the Company’s buildings, ilant, materials and works situated rithin the boundaries of the County ifc any time after- 21 years from the late of formal consent, after twelve nonths previous notice in writing, it the -price fixed, in case of dis.greement, by arbitration. “The Company to pay the whole of ho costs of the Council in the Com>any’s present application or in any •onsent or other proceedings arising hereout from time to time. “The Company to indemnify the 'ouncil from any loss or damage irising fi’nin the exercise by the Com>any of the right given hereby.”
