IN SOUTH DUNEDIN. [Per Press Association. 1 Dunedin, January 5. A six-roomed dwelling in Mac Andrew Road, South Dunedin, owned and occupied by Wm. Reilly, was totally destroyed by fire this morning. The South Dunedin Brigade received the alarm at 1.45 a.m., but its efforts were severely handicapped by the mail motor-wagon, which ran over the road and burst the hose. The building was insured for £IOO in the Liverpool and London and Globe office. AT CARTERTON. Carterton, January 6. The Club Hotel stables was totally destroyed by fire last night. The insurance was £IOO. Contents were burned to the value of £2O.
