A MELBOURNE BABY FARM

THE CORONIAL INQUIRY.

[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] * [United Press Association.] (Received 9.50 a.m.) Melbourne, December 21. At the coronial inquiry into the death of Mrs Newman, also the death of two infants previously reported, and that of a third found buried on the beach at Carr urn. a verdict was returned that Mrs Newman committed suicide and that the infants were murdered bv her.

The Coroner said it appeared that baby-farming was made easy for this woman, for the interests of some persons in getting rid of undesirable children made her methods simple. It was easy by means of the advertisements of baby-farmers to get into touch with their victims. ■*-- •» . n.: t k. *
