Fire did £IO,OOO worth of damage at the premises of Crooks, Eobinson and Coy., glass merchants, South Melbourne. The roof of Scott and Son's cool stores was alight, but the contents were unharmed. The caretakers' cottages were destroyed. The occupants escaped in night attire, climbing on a shed and thence over.a brick wall.
