Royal North-West Mounted Police from their Arctic posts mention rumors of Stefansson's party being deliberately marooned by the crew in consequence of dissensions and certain complaints concerning the.food. It is reported' that the disputes culminated in Stefansson being obligee to land, leaving other members of the J expedition in charge.
