THE "SOUTH PAWS'" LEAGUE.

An attempt has been made by Dr. Wiliiain Frye, pastor of the Orange .Methodist Church, Xew Jersey, to form a league of left-handed persons, or ''south paws," as they are called in America. He held a service in which only the left-handed were admitted, and preached from the text, "But when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, the Lord raised them up a deliverer, Ehud, the son of Cera, a Benjaminite, a man left-handed."

In the course of his sermon, the "Chronicle" says. Dr. Frye declared that "most great geniuses, though not all, are left-handed. There is a

real reason for it. The reason people are right-handed is that the left lobe of the brain is more developed. There i s a distinct advantage in having the right lobe more developed, and if I hat is the cast- you are lefthanded. Left-handed people are right-brained people, and out of the ordinary. They are apt to do interesting or unusual things."
