Forty Hindus who arrived in British Columbia are held for deportation despite the decision of the Supreme Court. Reports received in Canada show that large numbers of Hindus are awaiting the action of the Dominion before leaving India. Public bodies in British Columbia are urging the Government at Ottawa to enact stringent laws.
