WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for variable and moderate breezes; but southerly moderate to strong winds prevailing, and backing by west to north, then freshening. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Rain probable. The barometer has a rising tendency, but falling after about 20 hours.
