The newspapers are irritated at the Matin's publication of the alleged secrot agreement between Bulgaria and Servia against Austria prior to the war. The newspapers savagely criticise King Ferdinand, and demand Ms departure from Vienna. They abuse him for betraying Austria's confidence, and then coming 10 Vienna to exchange sallies with actresses behind the scenes when his country has lost 100,000 men, and 50,000 are going round on crutches.

The Emperor Franz Josef gave an mdience to King Ferdinand.
