OF THE MAIN TRUNK LINE. [Per Preph Assopiatiov.! Auckland, November 29. j Joseph Davis, who told a sensational story that lie saved the Main Trunk express by kicking a parcel of gelignite off the rails, was charged with having placed the explosive there himself. He pleaded guilty and was committed for trial.
