WOMEN'S FRANCHISE.

DEPUTATION TO MR LLOYD CEORCE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] {United Press Association.] (Received 8.10 a.m.) London, November 23. Mr Lloyd George, in reply to suffrage deputations at Oxford, refused to wreck the Government's prospects and measures for the suffrage. He declared that had the Insurance Act been submitted to a plebiscite when passing the House, it probably would have been thrown out. The suffrage must also have the Party machine behind it.
