A London cablegram states that the .Manchester Handicap on Saturday resulted: Datmatia I, W'orkgirl 2, Chiller 3. Maker heads the list of winning jockeys, states a London having secured 115 firsts. Wootton was second with 91 and Huxley ninth with 37. Au Auckland telegram .states that Kooya was scratched at 9 .am. for all engagements at the A.R.C. meeting. Tact was scratched for the Railway Handicap at 12.10 p.m.
