The prizes taken by his stock would fill a volume, some of thorn being shown 21 times and gaining 21 firsts and 8 champion prizes, as well a; winning the Produce Stakes and Gold Cup twice in succession at Royal Melbourne. This renowned sire may fittingly be referred to as one of the fountain heads of Clydesdale blood in New' Zealand. Here-1-Go’s granddam bv General Ontrarn, by Sir Colin (775, imp.), which was the sire of some cf the best mares New Zealand ever saw’, such as Laura Macpherson, who claims Sir Colin as her sire g.-grand-dam by Marquis, by Prince Charlie (imp.).
