The Lord Chief Justice, summing up, declared that il the Rev. Client was right then the allegations were a wicked fabrication or the result ol a neurotic woman’s hallucinations. If defendant Fitzgerald was right then Client was a wicked, hypocritical liar of the worst description. Alter twice retiring, the jury disagreed, and Fitzgerald was discharged.
