The New Zealanders concluded their tour of California by defeating All California at Borgeley by 51 points to 3. The field was muddy and slow. California’s score consisted of a penalty goal for offside play. The New ! Zealanders outplayed California in all (departments. ,lf the ground had 'been hotter they would have scored ■an additional 20 points. Frequent ■scrums resulted invariably, in the New iZealanders’ favor. The forwards also |shone in open play. The New Zealanders’ goal-line was never in danger. They scored 27 points in the first half and 24 in the second. The total 'score of the tour is 505 points to 6. They departed for Vancouver aboard the steamer Congress, and will ph»\ several games in British Columbia. . SCULLING. London, November 16. The Sporting Life emphasises the strong feeling against Barry’s attitude towards Albany, and his acceptance of Paddon’s challenge has not im proved the situation.
