Bell moved the second reading of the Science and Vrt Bill/ explaining that it proposed o set up a board to control the Doainion Museum, the National Art .1 allcry, and the Dominion Library. The Bill received general support, >.nd it was read a second time. The Rangitaiki Land Drainage Bill vas put through committee, read a bird time and passed. The Beer Duty Amendment Bill was ' nad a second time. Progress was re--1 ported at the committee stage to give further consideration to a new clause proposed by tlie. Minister.
