AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. CONDITIONS BAR “THE TRADE.” [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright J (United Press association."; (Received noon.) Londpn, September 29. The Billiard Control Club announced a championship wherein billiardists connected with the liquor trade will not be allowed to compete. Virr (present champion), Good, Christey, Love, joy, Wisdom (ex-champion), are among those connected with the licensing trade. The employees of table manufacturers are also ineligible. This is interpreted as an attempt to wrest the amateur championship from the Billiards Association,
