The scientists cabled on May 15 will be in residence at Cambridge during the forthcoming university term to prepare the Scott expedition records, and will probably finish in June, 1915.

The High Commissioner has arranged a series of lectures on Australian resources in the public schools, including Eton, Haileybury, Tonbridge, Ripingham, Rugby, and Dulwick. DYNAMITE FACTORY WRECKED. (Received 12.20 p.m.) Berlin, September 25. Two were killed and twelve injured by an explosion in a dynamite factory at Porz, on the Rhine, caused by the carelessness of a woman inj handling matches. The factory was completely wrecked. THE MARCONI COMPANY. (Received 11.30. a.m.) . The Marconi Company is increasing its capital by half a million to acquire Goldschmidt’s system.
