BOOKMAKERS' GRIEVANCE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 10.50 a.m.) London, September 23. The management of the Hurst Park racecourse decided not to allow the signalling of the prices current from Tattersalls to minor rings. Hitherto, 4he outside bookmakers sent their representatives a note of their heavy bets and would signal the information waving arms similar to naval semaphores. The public frequently complained that the signallers struck them, and the running about in the crowded ring caused grave inconvenience. The outside bookmakers resolved to boycott Hurst Park.
